OpenTag is a control portal and Slack coworker. We collect the minimum needed to run the product you configure.

Account

Sign-in uses a magic link, a one-time email code, or a password you set. We store your email and the session required to keep you signed in.

Workspace

Workspace names, member roles, agent instructions, channel policies, memory items, schedules, usage, and audit records live in your workspace so you can run and review the coworker.

Slack and connected tools

When you connect Slack, GitHub, Linear, Sentry, Chargebee, Stripe, custom MCP servers, or similar tools, OpenTag uses those connections to do the work you asked for. Message content, tool results, and instructions are processed to complete jobs and are sent to the model providers you use (Vercel AI Gateway, OpenRouter, Cloudflare AI Gateway, or a direct provider). We do not sell this data.

Billing

Model usage is billed at provider list rates on your chosen backend when you use your own keys (Vercel AI Gateway, OpenRouter, Cloudflare AI Gateway, or direct Anthropic / OpenAI / xAI / Google). Jobs can mix backends in one workspace. If you use ours, list rates plus a 10% handling fee apply, sold as prepaid credits through Stripe. If a paid OpenTag plan is active later, invoices would also be handled by Stripe.

Processors

The hosted service runs on Vercel. Workspace and account data live in Supabase. Models run through the marketplace or direct provider path you configure (Vercel AI Gateway, OpenRouter, Cloudflare AI Gateway, or Anthropic / OpenAI / xAI / Google). Prepaid credits and any later plan invoices are processed by Stripe. Error reports may go to Sentry when that integration is enabled.
